In this Photoshop school project, I was assigned with creating a cross-platform social media campaign for Travel Vida, a faux travel booking services company used for the purposes of the class.
The goal of the campaign was to encourage the audience to book a stay through the Travel Vida website or app by promoting the company’s unique service of allowing travelers to get “the local experience” while traveling by staying with a local host.
The design parameters included creating three different, yet cohesive ads for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. As well as, including the Travel Vida logo and the App Store and Google Play icons.
The targeted audience consisted of mid-twenty to late-thirty year-old single males and females who were mostly college educated, possessed the disposable income, and had a passion for traveling.
The result was a social media ad campaign that is lively, bold, and modern. The use of bright colors and beautiful imagery for different destinations allows the audience to indulge and get a sneak peak of the travel experience. While the simple, bold and contrasting text effectively showcases the call to action. Overall, this campaign uses the concept of simplicity and visual appeal to create a cohesive look and successfully draw in the targeted millennial audience.
